About Fuze
Moving value instantly is possible.
Fuze is a global digital asset infrastructure group building the regulated rails that move stablecoins, digital assets and payments across some of the fastest-growing corridors in the world. Banks, fintechs and enterprises use our APIs to launch compliant digital asset products without building the licensing, custody and compliance stack themselves.
Our platform spans payments and wealth: stablecoin orchestration, cross-border payments with 24/7 settlement, a crypto payment gateway, embedded trading and collateralized lending, and an institutional OTC desk.
We've processed over $20B and we're just getting started. With teams across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, Switzerland, Canada, the US, and more to come, we are backed by leading global investors.
Fuze is scaling into one of the defining infrastructure players in digital assets, and this is the moment to join - your call.
Role Overview
Fintechs, PSPs and neobanks are our fastest-moving segment. They have the product appetite and the technical capability to integrate quickly, but they need regulated infrastructure underneath them to do it. As Fuze launches in Africa, starting with Nigeria, we are looking for a commercial builder to own that segment in the market as Sales Manager.
This role reports to the Head of Commercial and works closely with Solutions, Compliance, Product and Operations. You own the relationship for its whole life: you find the client, you close them, you get them live, and you grow them. You are also the internal voice of the Nigerian market when Product decides what gets built next.
This is a builder role, focused on Nigeria as part of Fuze's launch into Africa. Lagos is the preferred base, though candidates in Nairobi, Cape Town, or Johannesburg will also be considered. You will create your own pipeline and operate with significant autonomy, without a large, structured sales organisation around you. Over time, you will build and lead a small Nigeria commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the Market: Owning commercial growth in Nigeria across payments, stablecoin and crypto, FX and financial infrastructure. You will build the commercial plan for proper coverage of PSPs, fintechs, banks, remittance companies, exchanges, merchants and other financial institutions, so the market is worked systematically rather than whenever a lead happens to arrive.
- Winning New Logos: Generating pipeline through your own network and industry knowledge, and personally originating, negotiating and closing high-value B2B partnerships and enterprise accounts. You own the full cycle, from prospecting and qualification through commercial structuring, negotiation and closing.
- Building Senior Relationships: Developing relationships with senior decision makers across Nigerian fintech, including CEOs, COOs, and Heads of Product, Treasury, Payments and Partnerships.
- Landing the Integration: Owning the handover into onboarding and go-live with Compliance and Operations, and staying commercially accountable for a client that is actually transacting, not just signed.
- Growing Share of Platform: Understanding where each client sits in its own product roadmap and expanding the relationship across the Fuze platform, rather than leaving it at the first integration.
- Holding Technical Conversations: Going deep enough on payments, FX, stablecoin mechanics and on and off-ramps to earn the respect of a founder or head of product in the first meeting.
- Finding New Opportunities: Identifying new use cases and market opportunities and translating them into revenue.
- Being the Voice of the Market: Feeding client pain points, feature requests and competitive movement back to Product with enough specificity to change a roadmap.
- Reading the Competition: Tracking competitor positioning and pricing across the Nigerian market, and knowing why you win and why you lose.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Providing accurate forecasts, pipeline reporting and performance analysis to leadership.
- Representing Fuze: Representing Fuze at industry events, conferences and communities, and building a strong network and market presence.
- Building the Team: Over time, building and managing a small Nigeria commercial team.
What We're Looking For:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in fintech, payments, FX, remittance, digital assets or financial infrastructure.
- A proven track record of selling B2B or enterprise financial products, not primarily retail.
- Deep understanding of payments, including PSPs, gateways, acquiring, payouts, collections, FX and cross-border payments.
- A strong existing network within the Nigerian fintech and payments ecosystem.
- A track record of personally originating and closing commercial deals.
- The presence to engage senior stakeholders, while staying hands-on enough to prospect, call, message on WhatsApp and close deals yourself.
- Strong communication, negotiation and commercial judgement.
- Commercially driven, and motivated by targets, negotiation and winning business.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who wants to build a market, not just manage an existing book of business.
Strong preferences
- Exposure to crypto, stablecoins, exchanges or digital asset infrastructure.
- Experience at leading African fintech, payments or crypto companies.
- A career that has progressed through business development, growth and partnerships roles, rather than traditional banking sales.
Why Join Fuze
- Build what actually matters: You won't just execute tasks. You'll shape products, teams, and strategy in a fast-scaling fintech environment, with real ownership and real impact.
- High growth, high visibility: Work closely with leadership, influence key decisions, and grow your career faster than you would in a larger, more traditional organization.
- Ambitious, no-nonsense culture: Work alongside sharp, driven people who move fast, think big, and get things done. No bureaucracy, just outcomes.
- Global exposure: Operate across markets, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain truly international experience.
- Merit over hierarchy: Ideas win here, not titles. If you're good, you'll be heard, trusted, and rewarded.
- Build your legacy: Join at the stage where you don't just grow with a company, you help create something you can point to and say, "I built that."
